From the 26th to 28th of April the exhibition SAWO took place in the Poznań International Fair Center in Poland: SAWO is the International Fair of work protection, fire fighting and rescue equipment, the largest fair related to work safety in Central and Eastern Europe with more than 220 exhibitors from 23 countries, showing their latest products on the market, including the Polish leaders and the producers of worldwide brands. Among them also Univet with a stand that was awarded from the organizing committee as the best one of the entire exhibition.
Alberto Brioni, Sales Area manager, received the “Acanthus Aureus” prize and proudly showed it on stage (Alberto is also a good amateur singer and therefore he was quite confident on stage!).
The Univet stand particularly showed the products of the “X-Generation”, such as the goggle 6X3 which won the RedDot award for the design, as well as the new multifunctional and versatile 5X1 model, with the wide range of combined accessories to make it comfortable, flexible and suitable for many applications. Last but not least, Univet also showed the patented 553 ZeroNoise glasses, to be perfectly worn with hearing protection devices.
Together with the exhibition there was a rich program of conferences promoted by several institutions, such as the National Labor Inspectorate, the Regional Labor Inspectorate in Poznań, the Central Work Safety Institute, the National Research Institute and the Polish Association of Work Safety Employees.
A conference was specifically focused on the “Worker’s health as a benefit for the company”, with a debate which referred to the topics of individual and social consequences of inappropriate work conditions in Poland and the costs that companies are obliged to pay. Since the early days Univet has been very sensitive to safety issues and their related and relevant costs and therefore has been developing a wide range of safety glasses for any specific application keeping the focus on easiness of use, comfort, protection, design, ergonomics and the best quality of the materials.
