Jordi Boza appointed Univet’s EyeTechLab Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships
Univet s.r.l. one of the leading manufacturers of professional safety glasses and optics for industry and professional applications, has appointed Jordi Boza as Director of Business Devlopment and Strategic Partnerships of their Eye Tech Lab Division. He also joins the business’ executive team.
Jordi Boza has more than 20 years of experience, with an outstanding record of achievements in executive corporate management, global strategic business development, and management of multidisciplinary teams in Europe, United States, and Latin America.
His passion for new technologies and his experience in Augmented and Virtual Reality makes him an internationally recognized industry expert.
He has developed a number of projects, including the Coca Cola worldwide deployment of smart glasses and the World’s first fully autonomous AI-Powered face recognition system integrated on Smart Glasses with NNTC as examples of helping companies to deploy their digitalization strategy.
Recently Jordi served as Director of Sales EMEA and LATAM for the Nasdaq Company Vuzix Corporation, a leading supplier of Smart-Glasses and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies and products for the consumer and enterprise markets.
Prior to this, Jordi was Co-Founder and CEO of the start-up Remoteeye, a technical assistance platform with AR for professional use and CEO of Retail and Real Estate Consultants, one of the largest real estate companies in Europe. Member of the Board of Directors in Metrovacesa (IBEX public company) and General Manager of the Shopping Centers Division. Director of the Asset Division (Hotel, Offices and Shopping Centers) of Sacresa.
Jordi holds a Leadership Program from Harvard University – GSD (USA), an AMDP in Real Estate from Harvard University – GSD (USA), a PDD in Business Administration from IESE Business School (Barcelona – Spain), and an International MBA in Business Administration from Manhattan College (New York – USA) and LaSalle (Barcelona – Spain).

EyeTechLab has developed the VisionAR safety glasses. This headset includes a monocular projection system based on Sony’s holographic optical engine and a control box that can be connected to the glasses via a USB C. VisionAR includes a camera, a status LED, a temperature sensor, an IR sensor, a light sensor, a barometer sensor or a microphone for voice control.
